Welcome!

I’m glad you stopped by. This site started as a writing site but quickly morphed into a book review site. Why? Well, I read a lot for one, and I realized that even though I might not be able to offer a lot of writing advice (and no one wants to hear my personal ramblings on whatever), I could offer something unique – book reviews from a writer’s perspective.

My name isn’t familiar? The might be because a – it’s a pen name and b – I haven’t been published (yet). But I’ve written four novels (two that I’d allow anyone aside from my critique partners to read) and I know what I like.

You don’t have to be published to be a writer. Let me say that again. You don’t have to be published to be a writer. A writer is simply someone who loves to write, who has to write, and often times hates to write. Doesn’t matter what – novels, flash fiction, poetry, etc. If you write on a regular basis, then you are a writer. Full stop.

I hope one of my reviews piques your interest enough to pick up a book that you might not have considered. I do get requests to review books and while I try to honor them, please be aware that my TBR list is a mile long so it will take me awhile.
